London: 28 countries, including Britain, France, and Japan, have called for a ceasefire and the distribution of aid to the Gaza Strip.
A joint statement issued by the British government called on Israel to immediately stop the war imposed on the Gaza Strip and to deliver aid.
The statement begins with the demand that ‘the war in Gaza should end immediately. The Israeli government’s system of delivering aid to Gaza is dangerous and fuels instability. This system is contrary to human dignity.
The statement strongly condemned the Israeli policy of distributing aid to the citizens of the Gaza Strip, the slowness and the brutal massacre of unarmed civilians, especially children, waiting for aid, and demanded the immediate delivery of aid.
The foreign ministers of the countries whose foreign ministers have signed the joint declaration include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, as well as the European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management.
134 Palestinians martyred in 24 hours
It should be noted that 134 Palestinians have been martyred in the last 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza, of which 99 were martyred and 650 were injured by Israeli bullets while seeking aid.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, ambulances and civil defense personnel are facing difficulty in reaching many areas, due to which many civilians are buried under the rubble of buildings.
The statement issued by the Gaza Health Ministry said that 59,029 Palestinians have been martyred and 142,135 injured as a result of the worst Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023.
The Israeli army launched ground operations in the central Gaza city of Deir al-Balah, another journalist, Tamer al-Zainin, was martyred by Israeli terrorists. The Israeli army also kidnapped Dr. Marwan al-Hams.
On the other hand, one Zionist soldier was killed and another was wounded in an attack on the Israeli army in Khan Yunis. The Israeli army has also confirmed the death of the soldier.
In addition, Hamas welcomed the international call for a ceasefire in Gaza and said that ending the suffering of the Palestinians is a priority in peace talks with Israel, and is in contact with third countries.
