Kim Kardashian is leaning on therapy including hypnotherapy as she works through the emotional fallout of her split from Kanye West.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2022 after nearly seven years of marriage, had a relationship that played out in the public eye. Now, sources say Kim is focused on healing from what they describe as “deep scars” left behind.

According to Heatworld magazine, it was Kim’s sister Kourtney Kardashian who first pushed her to seek help. Along with traditional therapy, Kim has reportedly revisited hypnotherapy, a method she has tried before.

“Kim’s used hypnosis in the past as part of her therapy to clear old trauma, and she does find it helps,” a source said.

But recovery hasn’t been simple. The insider explained, “Unfortunately the scars from Kanye are very deep, so this isn’t a one-and-done sort of healing journey.”

Still, Kim is committed. She’s currently attending hypnotherapy sessions twice a week and may increase the frequency. “She is turning to all sorts of things to try to get through this,” the source added.

Fans of Keeping Up With the Kardashians may remember the reality star’s emotional struggles during her marriage. In one episode, she broke down while reflecting on how different Kanye had become compared to the man she once fell in love with.

“It’s really confusing to me,” she said at the time. “So different to the person that I married, because that’s who I loved and that’s who I remember. I’d do anything to get that person back.”
