BMW iX3 Base Model Revealed What €68,900 Buys BMW iX3 Base Model Revealed What €68,900 Buys

All the promo shots of BMW’s new iX3 have shown the top-spec, M Sport–loaded version. But the real question is: what do you actually get if you don’t splash out on all the extras? Thanks to BMW’s configurator, now live in Germany right after the global debut, we finally have the answer.

The entry-level iX3 comes in at €68,900 and is initially offered only as the 50 x Drive. It keeps things simple with Alpine White paint and standard 20-inch wheels (style 1045), though buyers can go up to 22 inches if they want. Inside, seats are finished in Econeer, a textile made entirely from recycled PET yarn. Leather is available, but costs up to €3,090.

Even so, this “base” model isn’t stripped down. BMW includes heated, power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, an electric tailgate, Comfort Access, extended exterior mirrors, wireless phone charging, and even an alarm system.

On the tech side, there’s Digital Key Plus (your phone or smartwatch works as a car key), plus wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto as standard. Safety gear includes lane change warning, road priority alerts, Safe Exit, and Assisted View.

Deliveries in Europe kick off in spring 2026, with U.S. customers waiting until summer. A more affordable version, expected around €60,000, is in the pipeline. And if that’s still too much, the upcoming i3 sedan also set for 2026 should undercut the SUV on price.
