Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga was reportedly injured during the 12-day war between Israel and Iran.
Turkish news agency Anadolu quoted Iranian media as saying that senior Iranian officials, including the heads of three branches of government, were meeting at a secure location in Tehran when Israel attacked on June 17.
According to media reports, the Israeli attack involved six projectiles hitting the entrance and exit of the building. Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga suffered minor injuries to his leg in the Israeli attack, but all officials, including the Iranian president, were able to safely exit the building.
According to Iranian news agency Fars News, Israel also carried out a similar attack to target former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
According to Turkish media, Iranian officials suspect that information in this regard may have been leaked from within.
It should be remembered that on June 13, Israel attacked Iran’s nuclear program, military headquarters, and civilian population with missiles, killing 606 people and injuring more than 5,000.
Iran also launched a series of attacks on Israel in self-defense, killing 29 people and injuring 3,400, then on June 24, the 13-day war ended after the intervention of the United States.
