India made a brilliant comeback in the second innings and scored 396 runs and set England a target of 374 runs to win. Yashasvi Jaiswal played a brilliant innings of 118 runs while batting.
In pursuit of the target, Joe Root and Harry Brook played a lively innings of 105 and 111 runs for England, but the entire team was bundled out for 367 runs and was only 6 runs away from victory.
