Hockey India official claims that Pakistan has refused to participate in the Hockey Asia Cup tournament to be held in India.

Talking to an Indian newspaper about the participation of Pakistan hockey team in the Asia Cup, a Hockey India official said that Pakistan hockey team will not participate in the Asia Cup to be held in India.

Hockey India official claims that the Indian government was willing to issue visas to the Pakistan hockey team, but the Pakistan Hockey Federation has refused to travel to India on the grounds of security reasons.

The Asia Cup is scheduled in the Indian city of Rajgir from August 29 to September 7.

According to the Hockey India official, the Pakistan Hockey Federation wrote a letter to the Asian Hockey Federation on Wednesday, stating that they cannot compete in the Asia Cup due to security reasons.

The Hockey India official said in his conversation that now we have sent an invitation to Bangladesh to participate in the tournament.

On the other hand, the participation of the Pakistan Junior Hockey Team in the Junior Hockey World Cup to be held in India in November and December is also uncertain.
