Washington: The US space agency NASA has confirmed that the astronauts of the SpaceX Crew-11 mission have successfully arrived at the International Space Station (ISS).
According to international media reports, the four-member international team launched into space on Friday from the Kennedy Space Center in the US state of Florida on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, which successfully docked with the International Space Station on Saturday.
A NASA spokesperson said that the astronauts involved in the Crew-11 mission are from the United States, Japan and Russia. The mission will last six months, during which the astronauts will conduct various scientific experiments in space, including stem cells, plant biology, the effects of microgravity on the human body, and other scientific research projects.
NASA welcomed the astronauts on its social media platform “X” (formerly Twitter), writing that “Welcome to the International Space Station, Crew-11.”
