Netanyahu supports full military control of Gaza in meeting with senior security officials
US President Donald Trump, while making an important statement regarding the Israeli occupation of Gaza, has said that the decision on this issue will be made by Israel itself, and the United States will focus only on humanitarian assistance.
When asked by a journalist whether the United States supports Israel’s plan to completely occupy Gaza, Trump said that his government’s priority is to deliver as much food as possible to the besieged Palestinians in Gaza.
He said, “Israel will make the rest of the decisions, we are only working on a humanitarian basis.”
President Trump added that Israel will help distribute food, while Arab countries will provide financial support so that relief can be provided to the people of Gaza.
On the other hand, according to Israeli media reports, Prime Minister Netanyahu has supported complete military control over Gaza in a meeting with senior security officials.
According to further reports, Netanyahu is considering increasing military operations in Gaza, especially in areas where the presence of hostages is suspected.
