Teams from 8 countries, including Pakistan and India, will be in action in the Asia Cup, while the matches of the event will be held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
While talking to the media after the annual meeting of the ACC, Asian Cricket Council President Mohsin Naqvi said that all 25 members attended the annual meeting of the council and the meeting was held in a very good atmosphere. All the members of the council are agreed that no one should bring politics into the ACC platform.
He said that we should only work for the promotion of cricket, India has to send the schedule of the Asia Cup, we are waiting for that, only after that the event will be announced.
On the other hand, Mohsin Naqvi also confirmed a tri-nation cricket series between Pakistan, Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates in the UAE before the Asia Cup.
